Happy Holidays Peoples!
Thank you for making 2008 the best year in ZBB history! Although we did not have expectations for what kind of year we would have, we have accomplished a lot with the help of our fans, friends and family! Just today we found out that "Chicken Fried" has achieved gold status...which means 500,000 of you have bought the single. We still cant wrap our head around it...500,000?!
Not to mention we have folks emailing us everyday that every song on The Foundation could be their favorite, has affected their life in a positive way, or they just like listening to it on the water....we will NEVER get tired of hearing this and will continue to work hard to make great records.
We also want to continue to give thanks to our troops and other folks making a difference in people's lives.
Just last year this time we were still a bar band in Georgia, and while our hearts will always be in Georgia we have had a blast rocking it from coast to coast over the last 9 months. Check out this video to see what we were up to.
Lots more great memories to come...raise your glasses for a toast to 2009!

Greetings from Atlanta!
We have had this whole week off and it has given us some time to think about our trip to the Northeast last week. SOLD OUT in New York?! After spending the day filming all over the city (thank you Ultrastar) we got to play to a very enthusiastic crowd in the big apple. Next time we will see you at the Bowery Ballroom!
Thank you to everyone in NY, Philly, Jersey and Boston for making us feel right at home.
And speaking of home, we returned on Sunday to play the Last Blast of Summer with Kicks Radio where we got to film a crowd of 25,000 folks singing Chicken Fried!
We are editing the footage now and will have a new video out soon. In the meantime, we are going to enjoy our time off by watching a LOT of football, hit up the UFC fight this weekend and get outside as much as possible in this awesome fall weather. Go dawgs!!
See ya soon.

After four of the busiest days ever for the Zac Brown Band at CMA fest in
Nashville, TN, we are headed to the Bamajam Festival in South Alabama where we
will share the stage with some world-renowned players. Unfortunately, we won't
be sticking around to see all the great music Bamajam has to offer - because we
are going home - for all of 22 hours.
While we miss being at home, we love playing music to new folks every day and every night. The crazy thing is that shows are only 1 - 2 hrs of the whole day so there is a lot of down time to spend with your brothers from other mothers.
Here are a few tips from Zac Brown Band on how to survive being on the road when you're not pickin and grinning on stage or on the bus:

From
almost the beginning. Ok it's "almost" because when I met Zac in 2000
he'd been working the FloriGeorgiaBama music scene for 5 years...
